Settlement Period

Settlement option refers to staying invested even after your plan matures. The specified period you have chosen to stay invested for, is called the settlement period. It starts from the maturity date and can go up to a period of upto 5 years. Instead of receiving the entire maturity amount in one go, this helps you in distributing the market risk across the entire settlement period.
