Settlement Option

Settlement option refers to staying invested even after your plan matures. Instead of receiving the entire maturity amount in one go this helps you in distributing the market risk across a period of upto 5 years. You can choose to opt for settlement option atleast 1 day prior to the date of your plan's maturity, otherwise the lumpsum amount will be credited automatically on the maturity date.
